Come in for fast kid-friendly service and go home with the prescriptions and over-the-counter medications you need. As always only Board Certified Pediatricians. Kids ask to go to “the slushie doctor!”

With our “One-Stop-Shop” you can have your prescription filled and pick up over-the-counter medicines you may need at great prices! Who wants to make a separate trip to the pharmacy and wait again for medicines your sick child needs? At After-Hours Pediatrics we can fill many common prescriptions in just a few minutes. Plus you can stock up on pain relievers, fever reducers, cough and cold medicines and more. You’ll be back home sooner! And your child will be on their way to feeling better.

Flu vaccine is here!

We have flu shots and FluMist available now! Walk-in with the whole family to get everyone vaccinated and protected for the upcoming season. No need to wait. The CDC recommends getting a flu vaccine every year as soon as it is available. The immunization will last throughout the season.

Everyone 6 months and older should be vaccinated. FluMist can be given to healthy people ages 2-49 if you can’t stand needles! Kids under 9 need two vaccines a minimum of 4 weeks apart unless they have received 2 flu vaccines since July 2010.

Flu vaccines for kids are usually covered by insurance (no co-pay is collected for vaccine-only visit). We do not file insurance for adults. Coventry and Cigna do not cover vaccine-only visits at After-Hours Pediatrics. Flu shots are $30 and FluMist is $35 for adults and for kids with Coventry, Cigna, or another insurance company that we do no accept. Exciting News at After-Hours Pediatrics!

Some wonderful new things are happening at After-Hours Pediatrics:

Coming in October – New expanded hours every day of the week! We are excited to bring you more times to visit – always without an appointment and always to see a Board-Certified pediatrician.

Convenient “One Stop Shop” will be opening soon – pick up generic forms of Motrin, Tylenol, and Benadryl or other over-the counter products you may need. No need to make another stop when your kiddo isn’t feeling well. We will also be stocking some hard to find items such as vanilla scented pacifiers. Let us know if you would like us to have a particular item available.

Sports Physicals – We began offering convenient sports physicals this summer. See our website for detailed information.

And as always:

Prescription medications – Pick up your prescription at the time of your visit! This convenient service allows you to skip waiting at the pharmacy. Many commonly prescribed medications are available. Be sure to ask if you are interested in saving time!
